Information We Collect and Sources of Information
We collect Personal Information about you when you provide it to us directly. We may also receive information about you from third-party sources, or through automated collection and tracking features associated with our products and services. The categories of Personal Information we collect are described below. Some HDMZ products or services may collect different or additional categories of Personal Information which will be explained in more detail within the privacy policy for those specific products or services.
Identifiers. We collect personal identifiers about you, such as name, postal address, email address, and phone number. We collect this information when you provide it to us directly (such as when you sign up for a service). We may also collect this information from third party sources (such as from trade shows or other business gatherings which are designed to facilitate showcasing products and exchanging business contact information). We may also collect this information from publicly available sources (such as professional business listings or business-related social media). We may also collect demographic information, such as age, gender, or occupation, or clickstream data such as interactions with the Site.
Voice and Physical Appearance. We may collect, store, and process information you transmit through our communications applications and platforms (such as Zoom, Teams, etc.) during calls and meetings. Some of these applications may utilize artificial intelligence systems to assist in processing the calls or meetings (such as for summarizing action items or creating notes from the meeting or call).
Professional or Employment-Related Information. We may collect information about your professional position in the course of discussing our products and services or for employment purposes.
Internet or Similar Network Activity. We log all connections to our web servers, which may include a unique user identifier, including, but not limited to your IP address and/or your mobile operating system (OS), and other commonly used mobile device identifiers (a “User Identifier”). A User Identifier is general information about your location, connection to the Internet, and your Internet or mobile phone service provider. We use your User Identifier to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website or our products and services. We may collect information about the HDMZ website you visit and which specific pages on our website that you navigate through. When you use our online services, we may retain a record of your activity.
Automated Processing and Tracking Technology
Automated Decision-Making. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling technology. However, we may apply programmatic and audience-building tools for our own marketing or marketing efforts we undertake on behalf of our clients.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. If a “Do Not Track” signal is made available in your browser by a commonly accepted format, we make a reasonable effort to honor this signal in conjunction with our cookie consent banner. At this time, we do not track Personal Information about your online activities across third party websites.
Cookies. We may use a standard feature in browser software called “cookies” to enhance your experience with our website, our products and services, or for authentication or security purposes. Cookies are small files that your web browser places on your hard drive for record-keeping purposes. By showing how and when visitors use our website, cookies help us identify how many unique users visit the HDMZ website and track user trends and patterns. Cookies may benefit your use of our website and our products and services, and save you time by storing and making easily available information required to use our products and services. Please note that deleting our cookies or disabling future cookies may negatively affect the continuity and user experience when you use our products and services.
What types of cookies do we use?
Strictly Necessary Cookies. These cookies are required for the Site to function. They are used to ensure the safety, security, and integrity of the Site, as well as to enable users to move around the Site and use its features. Without these cookies, the Site will not perform as smoothly for you as we would like it to, and we may not be able to provide the Site or certain features of it. These cookies are often session-specific, which means they expire after your visit to the Site has ended. These cookies cannot be disabled.
Functionality Cookies. These cookies allow the Site to recognize you when you return, as well as to remember choices you made (such as your name, language, or region), so it can provide more personal features. These cookies will typically remain on your device until you choose to clear them. They cannot be disabled.
Analytics Cookies. These cookies collect information about your use of the Site and enable us to improve the way it works. For example, analytics cookies show us which are the most frequently visited pages on the Site, help us record any difficulties you have with the Site, and show us whether our content is effective. This allows us to see overall patterns of Site use, rather than the use of a single person. We use the information to analyze Site traffic, but we do not examine this information for individually identifying information. These cookies may be set by us or by third parties, and they typically stay on your computer until you delete them (see below).
Advertising Cookies. These cookies are set by us and by third parties and collect information about your activities on the Site and other websites to provide you with advertising (both on the Site and on other websites and online services) that is targeted based on your inferred interests. They can also be used to limit the number of times you see a particular ad. These cookies typically stay on your computer until you delete them (see below).
Social Media Cookies. These cookies are set by social media services and track you across the Site and other websites, in order to build a profile of your interests. This affects the content and messages you see on other websites.
How can you manage your cookie preferences? You can manage your cookie preferences at any time via our Cookie Preference Center. Additionally, you can stop certain types of cookies from being downloaded on your computer by selecting the appropriate settings on your web browser. Most web browsers will tell you how to stop accepting new browser cookies, how to be notified when you receive a new browser cookie, and how to disable existing cookies. You can find out how to do this for your particular browser by clicking “help” on your browser’s menu or by visiting All About Cookies website. If you choose to delete or disable cookies and similar technologies, your experience on the Site may be diminished, and some features may not work as intended.
Clear Gifs. We may also employ a software technology called clear gifs (also known as web beacons) that help us better manage content on our website or our products and services by informing us what content is effective and of interest to our users. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of users within our website or our products and services. Clear gifs and cookies may be used to improve your user experience when using our website, products and services or in conjunction with our marketing activities.
Other Tracking Technologies. We may also employ other common mobile tracking technologies, such as UDID, Open UDID, ODIN, MAC Address, or device fingerprinting. These technologies help us better manage content on our website or marketing activities by informing us what content is effective and of interest to our users. These technologies are similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of HDMZ users.
Log Files. Like most standard website servers, we may use log files. Information collected in log files may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, your User Identifier, browser type, internet service provider, mobile network provider, referring/exit pages, platform type, date/timestamp, and number of clicks. We utilize this information to analyze trends, administer our website and our products and services, track your movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. This information may be used to improve your experience with our website and our products and services.
