California Supplement
Harris D. McKinney Inc, dba HDMZ (“HDMZ”) has established a Privacy Policy, located here, which describes our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing Personal Information when you visit HDMZ’s websites or use HDMZ’s products and services. This California Privacy Supplement (“Supplement”) supplements our general Privacy Policy and applies solely to residents of California, as per the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). This Supplement outlines the rights of California residents regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information, including specific rights and obligations which apply under these laws.
1. Categories of Personal Information Collected, Sources and Purpose
In the preceding 12 months, HDMZ has collected the following categories of Personal Information from consumers:
- Identifiers (e.g., name, email address, postal address, IP address)
- Commercial information (e.g., records of products or services purchased)
- Internet or network activity information (e.g., browsing history, interactions with our website)
- Professional or employment-related information (e.g., job title, business contact information)
- Geolocation data (e.g., precise location of the device)
- Inferences drawn from other Personal Information (e.g., preferences or characteristics)
HDMZ does not collect biometric information, audio/visual information, or sensitive health data in the ordinary course of business.
We collect Personal Information from the following categories of sources:
- Directly from consumers, when they interact with our website, request services, or make inquires.
- From third parties, such as business partners, services providers, or publicly available databases.
HDMZ collects Personal Information for the following specific business or commercial purposes:
- To provide products or services that consumers request from us.
- To improve the functionality of our websites and services.
- For marketing and promotional purposes (with consumer consent where required)
- To detect and protect against security incidents, fraud, and illegal activities.
- To ensure compliance with legal obligations, including regulatory requirements.
2. Personal Information Sold or Shared
HDMZ does not sell Personal Information.
HDMZ does not share personal information for cross-contextual behavioral advertising.
If our practices regarding the sale of Personal Information change, we will notify consumers and provide an opportunity to opt-out.

In the preceding 12 months, we disclosed the following categories of Personal Information to service providers and third parties for business purposes:
- Identifiers (e.g., name, email, IP address) to process transactions and manage communications.
- Commercial information to support service delivery.
We disclose Personal Information to:
- Service providers (e.g., cloud hosting providers, payment processors) to help us operate and deliver services.
- Legal or regulatory authorities as required by law.
Specific purposes for disclosing Personal Information include:
- To process transactions and fulfill services.
- To detect security threats and prevent fraud.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to requests from law enforcement.
4. Sensitive Personal Information
HDMZ does not collect or use Sensitive Personal Information beyond what is necessary for providing services, fraud prevention, or as required by law. We do not disclose sensitive information for purposes beyond those permitted by California law.
5. Personal Information of Minors
HDMZ does not knowingly sell or share the Personal Information of minors under 16 years of age. If we obtain actual knowledge that a minor’s information has been sold or shared, we will take appropriate action as required by law.

Under California law, California residents have the following rights regarding their personal information:
Access to Specific Information and Data Portability Rights
You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your Personal Information. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request (see Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights), we will disclose to you:
- The categories of Personal Information we collected about you.
- The categories of sources for the Personal Information we collected about you.
- Our business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing that Personal Information.
- The categories of third parties to whom we disclose that Personal Information.
- The specific pieces of Personal Information we collected about you (also called a data portability request).
- If we sold or disclosed your Personal Information for a business purpose, two separate lists disclosing:
- sales, identifying the categories of Personal Information sold and each category of third parties to whom the information was sold; and
- disclosures for a business purpose, identifying the categories of Personal Information disclosed and each category of third parties to whom information was disclosed.
Deletion Request Rights
You have the right to request that we delete any of your Personal Information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request (see Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights), we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your Personal Information from our records, unless an exception applies.
We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service provider(s) to:
- Complete the transaction for which we collected the Personal Information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, fulfill the terms of a written warranty or product recall conducted in accordance with federal law, or otherwise perform our contract with you.
- Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.
- Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
- Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise their free speech rights, or exercise another right provided for by law.
- Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 et. seq.).
- Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when the information's deletion may likely render impossible or seriously impair the research's achievement, if you previously provided informed consent.
- Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.
- Comply with a legal obligation.
- Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.
Right to Correct
You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate Personal Information that we hold about you.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information. HDMZ does not currently sell Personal Information. If our practices change, we will notify you and provide a clear opt-out mechanism.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
You have the right to limit how your Sensitive Personal Information is used. This includes data such as social security numbers, financial information, precise geolocation, and other highly sensitive data. You can request that we limit use of this information for specific purposes, such as fraud prevention or fulfilling services requested by you.

Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your Personal Information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child. A verifiable consumer request must include sufficient information to allow us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information and describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with Personal Information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the Personal Information relates to you.
8. Authorized Agents
California residents have the right to designate an authorized person or entity to exercise their rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). To make this designation, please contact us. We will honor your designation if we are able to verify your identity and if we receive information necessary to verify the identity and scope of authority granted to your authorized agent.
9. Response Timing and Format
We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and the legally permissible extension period in writing. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request's receipt. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your Personal Information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.
We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
10. Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not:
- Deny you goods or services.
- Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.
- Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
- Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
However, we may offer you certain financial incentives permitted by the CCPA that can result in different prices, rates, or quality levels. Any CCPA-permitted financial incentive we offer will reasonably relate to your Personal Information's value and contain written terms that describe the program's material aspects. Participation in a financial incentive program requires your prior opt in consent, which you may revoke at any time.
11. Data Retention
We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Supplement, unless otherwise required by law. Retention periods are based on legal obligations, business needs, and consumer expectations.
12. Other California Privacy Rights
California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our websites who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
